John Dwyer
John, resident Head Golf Professional since October 2016, was awarded PGA Fellow status in 2013. John has earned a fine reputation as a player, teacher and retailer over the last two decades. His simple approach to coaching makes him very popular with golfers of all levels.
John won the PGA Irish region Order of Merit in 2001 and was a member of the 2000, 2003 and 2007 PGA Cup teams. John is a regular winner on the domestic circuit and has competed in all four rounds of the 2005 Irish and European Opens. The biggest feather in John’s cap was winning the Glenmuir Club Professional Championship in Royal Porthcawl Golf Club in 2007.
Stephen McCarthy
Stephen is qualified PGA Professional having played full time on the PGA EuroPro Tour and Irish PGA Region. The experience and knowledge he has gained from his time on these tours, are seen as asset to assist in his coaching, custom fitting and customer services. Stephen’s approach to coaching is teaching by means of guided understanding in achieving students goals and ambitions.

Mark Sutton
Mark is the newest member of our pro-shop team. A fully qualified PGA Professional since 2018, Mark has previous experience at Hollywood Lakes Golf Club, the GUl National Golf Academy, and most recently at Corrstown Golf Club. Mark's main passion revolves around the game of golf, both playing and teaching but also has a keen interest in customer service, retailing, and the general golf business.

Our excellent teaching facilities include a pitching green with several bunkers, a large practice putting green, and a green grass driving range. Our new indoor swing and custom fitting centre using Trackman 4 technology opened in the winter of 2017 and was upgraded again in 2021.
Trackman
The Royal Dublin Indoor Swing Studio opened in November 2017.
One radar system tracks everything the club does before, during, and after impact - from commonly known parameters like Club Path and Face Angle to Swing Direction and Spin Loft. The other radar system tracks the full ball flight - from launch to landing and everything in between; including Launch Angle, Spin Rate, and curvature.
